Welcome
The book, “The Four-day School Week: Less IS More!” describes the positive and negative consequences of the four-day school week, and explores the implementation process in detail.
Dr. Kordosky describes the implications that are involved in the adoption process, as well the final implementation. Much of the rhetoric that commonly revolves around the four-day school week involves student fatigue, the decrease in expenditures for districts and child care for elementary children on the fifth day when there is not school anymore.
These topics and many more are explored in detail in the book.
This book is a "most have" for any district, large or small, that is interested in investigating the four-day school week. Less really IS more, as more and more districts adopt the four-day school week not just to save money, but to improve student education services and provide a better work environment for teachers.
